Biography
Ms. Bird is a Canadian soprano, praised as a “powerful coloratura soprano [who] sings with precision and secure top notes” (Christopher Hoile, 2022). Her performances have been described as
displaying “theatrical poise, technical assurance, and an abundance of charm” (Opera Going Toronto, 2023). A graduate of the Glenn Gould School at the Royal Conservatory of Music, she holds both a
Bachelor of Music (Honours) in Voice Performance and an Artist Diploma.
Her recent engagements include a soprano solo in Mozart Requiem for Burlington Symphony, the title role of Little Red Riding Hood in Little Red Riding Hood for Calgary Opera, and Dew Fairy in Hansel and Gretel, also for Calgary Opera.
